Production period: from 15 June to 25 juillet & from 25 August to 25 September.
This chalet has been in the family since 1934; it was destroyed by an avalanche and totally rebuilt in 1942. It's the 3rd generation, and the parents will hand over the operation to their son Rémi in 2019.
Between 1950 & 1960 they had about 50 cows, but much less milk, however a litre of milk was worth more!
In 1971, he installed the bucket milker. He happily remembers the day after the wedding, it was hard not to fall asleep when milking by hand!
